Arenacross series bronze for Buildbase Honda’s Adrien and Adam!
Buildbase Honda’s Adrien Escoffier and Adam Chatfield both clinched series bronze medals as the 2019 Arenacross Tour signed off with a double-header at Sheffield’s DSA Arena on Friday and Saturday nights.
Competing in the super-competitive Pro Lites class, Adrien went 5-3 in his two Main Events on Friday on his CRF250R and took second in the Super Final. He then finished fourth in his first Main on Saturday but crashed second time out before claiming a solid fifth in the Super Final.
His scores over the six-round series earned him third in the Pro Lites and fourth in the Pro AX classes.

FIGHT TO THE FINISH LINE FOR ARENACROSS YOUTHS – Finale Race Report and Results
All Arenacross youth classes contested their final races this evening at the final round of the Arenacross Tour at The FlyDSA Arena, Sheffield.
Rookie Cup supremo Ben Clayton finished in an uncustomary third in this morning’s non-public race, behind the youngest rider in the class Carl Ostermann, and a rapidly-improving Adam Collings. Whilst the 16-year-old had done enough to win the championship ahead of the evening race and he went out and won the last race in front of a cheering Sheffield crowd. The Grand Finale of the 2019 Arenacross Tour delivered on its promise of producing a white-knuckle ride, with hard-charging battles across all Pro classes and an adrenaline-fuelled Super Final Main Event that went to the wire.
Thousands of eager AX fans flocked into the FlyDSA Arena this evening for the venue’s first-ever Arenacross final, eager to soak up the atmosphere, sit back and enjoy an evening of flat-out indoor motocross racing, high-air Fix Auto Freestyle MX antics, and witness history as 250cc and 450cc pilots faced each other head-on in the inaugural mixed capacity AX Pro Championship.

ARENACROSS YOUTHS BATTLE HARD AT SHEFFIELD – Round 5 Race Report and Results
The fifth round of the Arenacross Tour witnessed plenty of action across all youth classes today, with all riders battling away to secure vital points and boost their all-important championship positions.
The first race of the Rookie Cup, a class for teenage riders that sit between the youth and Pro groups, saw a surprise result in the opening race, with championship leader and hot favourite Ben Clayton having to settle for second behind an ever-improving Adam Collings. THE GLOVES ARE OFF FOR ARENACROSS FINALE – Round 5 Race Report and Results
There’s a sense of déjà vu sweeping across the Arenacross Pro paddock as the Tour heads into its Grand Finale at the FlyDSA Arena, Sheffield tomorrow, Saturday the 16th of February. The main protagonists in the Pro AX championship, namely, Cedric Soubeyras (FRO Systems) and Greg Aranda (Team Green Kawasaki) line up for the 2019 Main Event Super Final tying on points, with 67 apiece and everything to go for.

With five rounds of AMA Supercross under his belt, our Feature Racer Dylan Woodcock has returned to home turf this weekend and will be competing in the final two rounds of the Arenacross Tour in Sheffield.

TOO CLOSE TO CALL FOR ARENACROSS YOUTHS AT SHEFFIELD
The final two rounds of the 2019 Arenacross Tour take place this weekend at Sheffield, with just three points separating the leading two riders in both 65cc Youth and Team Green Supermini Cups, and 60 points on the table over the four races. Unlike previous years where competitors could drop their lowest-scoring round; all rounds count and so there’s everything to play for.
