AJP Racing reveal big 2026 plans with backing from Guy Martin!

The AJP Racing team have revealed their plans for 2026, and they are stepping it up big time as they take on Arenacross, the British Motocross Championship and MXGP with backing from Road Race and TV superstar Guy Martin.

The team will be on board Triumph bikes with some support from Staffordshire Triumph, and will start by racing in the Arenacross Tour with Ben Clayton and possibly another rider.

Then Jayden Ashwell and Jimmy Margetson will be doing the full British Motocross Championship. Jayden in MX1 and Jimmy moving up from the 125’s onto a 250f. Jimmy will also be doing the full AMCA Championship in MX2 and trying to clinch that title after a dominant season in the 125s.

Also on the schedule for South African racer Jayden is some MXGP rounds.

Team Boss Ben Prosser said, “Jayden will be heading overseas for as many rounds as we can do of the MXGP with our first one starting in Spain on the 22nd of March. It’s a big step for us as a team to travel Europe and experience the biggest race series in the world. It’s a tall order for anyone to go to these events and race against the world’s best, but we’re looking forward to it.

“Also, Guy Martin has come on board this year to help with Jimmy Margetson’s race season and support the team where he can.”
