The Italian manufacturer brings its racing pedigree and new Desmo450 MX Factory machinery to the British indoor championship for the first time, with Stolen Brand founder Anthony Revell leading the operation.
Ducati will make its Arenacross British Championship debut in 2027, entering an official Ducati UK-backed team as the Italian manufacturer continues its ambitious expansion into motocross.
One of the most recognisable names in motorcycle racing, Ducati has enjoyed extraordinary success in success in the British Superbike Championship, WorldSBK and MotoGP. Now, as its motocross and off-road programme gathers momentum globally, the manufacturer is bringing its latest Desmo450 MX Factory machinery to the UK’s most recognisable and popular racing environments.
The new team will contest all six rounds of the 2027 Arenacross British Championship, taking on established teams and riders across Birmingham, Belfast and Aberdeen in February.
For Ducati UK, the move represents another step in establishing its national presence in off-road competition. For Arenacross, it marks the arrival of a manufacturer whose racing pedigree and ambition have made it one of the most recognisable brands in global motorsport.
Ducati UK first brought its Desmo450 MX and MX Factory bikes to Arenacross in Birmingham in 2026, where they attracted considerable attention from spectators. Twelve months later, those distinctive red machines will move from the exhibition stand to the start gate, giving British fans an opportunity to see Ducati’s latest motocross technology put to the test in the championship.
Ryan Gregory, Marketing, Communications & PR Director, Ducati North Europe, said:
“Entering the Arenacross British Championship with a Ducati UK-backed team is an exciting next step in developing our motocross presence.
Arenacross combines competitive racing with an atmosphere that brings fans close to the action. We’re looking forward to working with Anthony and Stolen Brand to introduce the Desmo450 MX Factory to this demanding racing environment.
We know we’ll face experienced teams and riders, and we respect that challenge. This programme gives us an opportunity to build experience, connect with the British off-road community and bring more fans into Ducati’s motocross journey.”
Anthony ‘Revs’ Revell’s Stolen Brand Race Team to lead Ducati’s Arenacross campaign
The new Ducati UK-backed team will be established and managed by Anthony Revell, founder of the highly successful action sports brand, Stolen Brand.
With a longstanding involvement in action sports and a particular passion for motocross, Revs will be responsible for bringing the new operation together, from developing the team’s identity and structure to preparing it for competition in the British Championship.
A longtime follower and supporter of Arenacross, Revs has been looking for an opportunity to become involved in the series for several years. He now takes on the challenge of leading Ducati UK’s first race team in the championship, combining his experience within action sports with an ambition to build a competitive and recognisable presence in the Arenacross paddock.

Anthony Revell, Team Principal, said:
“I’ve wanted to own a race team in Arenacross for a long time. I’ve always loved what it brings to motocross. It’s competitive, it’s intense, and it puts the sport in front of people in a way that very few other events can.
Through Stolen Brand, I’ve spent years involved in different areas of action sports, but motocross has always been a huge part of my life. To now have the opportunity to establish and run a team with the official backing of Ducati UK is something I’m incredibly excited about.
There’s a lot of interest around Ducati coming into motocross, and rightly so. This is a manufacturer with an unbelievable racing history, and to be involved at this stage of its off-road journey is a huge opportunity.
Our priority is to put together a team that can go out there and compete. We know the level of racing in Arenacross is high, and we’re not underestimating the challenge. But we’ve got fantastic machinery to work with, the backing of Ducati UK and an opportunity to build something with its own identity.
I want this to be a team that people take seriously on the track and enjoy following away from it. That’s what we’re setting out to achieve.”
Matt Bates, Promoter of Arenacross, said:
“To have Ducati putting an official UK-backed team into Arenacross is massive. This is a manufacturer with extraordinary racing heritage, recognised around the world, and one that’s already making its mark in motocross. To now see those iconic red bikes joining the Arenacross British Championship is a hugely exciting prospect for us and for the fans.
And now because of how we’ve positioned the all-new Dirt Bike Live Show alongside Arenacross, We’re seeing manufacturers and brands increasingly recognise the opportunity we present. It gives them a competitive platform ahead of the outdoor season, puts their machinery in front of more than 30,000 fans in major indoor arenas, and creates opportunities to build awareness through the content and coverage surrounding the championship.
But ultimately, the most important thing is the racing. Ducati is coming in with official backing, a new team and the latest Factory machinery, and they’ll be lining up against some very experienced Arenacross competitors. That’s brilliant for the championship and for the fans”.
The Ducati UK-backed team’s rider line-up and further details of the operation will be announced in due course.
The 2027 Arenacross British Championship will feature six rounds across three UK cities, with a £150,000 championship prize fund.
