British 2-Stroke championship saved by Apico 2-Stroke Festival

Following the unfortunate announcement regarding the British 2-Stroke Championship last weekend the ACU are please to confirm the ACU British Open 2-Stroke championship will now be run as part of the Apico 2-Stroke Festival series for 2019.

After the prestigious six-round series was dropped from the Maxxis British championship schedule due to lack of entries this month, the Apico 2-Stroke Festival has stepped in to keep the championship alive.

CJMX kick off 2019 with a cracker. Coventry Junior MXC Xmas Cracker Stubblecross – Race Report and Results

Coventry Junior Motocross Club kicked off 2019 with belated Christmas cracker stubble cross meeting. There was a good line up in all of the classes as everyone was eager to get back into racing after all the festivities.

First up was the Clubman class. James Thompson was on great form finishing 2-1-1, Kip Bates pushed hard all day and come away with 1-2-2 leaving Andy Salt with 3-3-3.

Out next were the MX1 & MX2 classes. Howard Wainwright put on an impressive performance taking all 3 wins of the mixed group. Some good battles throughout the field between all the riders.

2019 Hawkstone International – The Full Line up’s

The full line up’s of the 2019 Be Wiser Bridgestone Hawkstone International Motocross, which takes place on the 17th February have been announced.

Top names have been named on a daily basis but this is the first time we have been able to see the complete rider list.

With the likes of 2018 MXGP World Champion Jeffrey Herlings, 2017 World MX2 Champion Pauls Jonass, pitched against the likes of British favourite’s Max Anstie, Ben Watson and Conrad Mewse top class action is assured.

Mackenzie takes the win, but not the score .. Ecosse XC Winter Championship Round 1 – Race Report and Results

The first Rock Oil/MichelinEcosse XC outing of the New Year, saw over 200 solo and quad riders turn out to a new sand venue at Tyninghame Links, near Dunbar in East Lothian

A huge amount of work and input from the Pro riders went into building an interesting and flowing one-mile-plus track with plenty of passing lines and big berms. Great weather welcomed the riders who were swiftly through signing-on, practice and ready for the first race with go underway promptly at 9am.

British 2 Stroke Motocross Championship cancelled!

Organisers have been forced to cancel this year’s ACU British Two-Stroke Championship after two successful seasons.

The series, which runs on the same programme as the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship supported by Pro Clean, had been extended to six rounds this year but a lack of rider registrations has left the promoter with no option but to pull the plug.
