Jorge Prado out of British GP

KTM has announced that Jorge Prado, the MX2 World Championship leader will be missing from this weekend’s British MXGP line up at Matterely Basin throwing the chances of a win wide open for a number of British hopefuls.

MX2 World Champion and current red plate holder Jorge Prado will not take part in the second round of the 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship this weekend in Great Britain after sustaining a shoulder injury while training.

The 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship is ready for round 2 this weekend at the famous circuit of Matterley Basin! After 3 windy days of heavy showers, the sun was shining on Sunday morning to greet the riders at Minchinhampton ready to race in the 1st Round of the Dursley Southwest Challenge Shield…

The track became very demanding through the first block as deep ruts formed, but it dried out as the day went on, but it remained a very technically demanding track, and riders certainly had to think about and pick their lines with several riders falling in ruts.

Cole the conqueror! Hampshire Motocross Club Championships Round 1 – Race Report and Results

The Hampshire Motocross club got their 2019 Summer Club Championships underway on Sunday at West Meon, holding out against the weather to host a fantastic opening round in tough but raceable conditions.

The Small Wheel 85’s were a bit low on numbers but that takes nothing away from Tyler Kirby who stole the show with a three-ride win maximum and the overall from Max Hoard in second and Charlie Gutteridge in third.

A matter of Matthews! South West Offroad Motocross Champs Round 2 – Race Report and Results

Sunday March the 17th was to be the day of round 2 of the South West Off Road Motocross Moto logic series for 2019. With high winds over the course of the weekend, the Littlehempston track was in prime condition and ready to see some action on behalf of the hosting club Teignbridge.

The Junior Elite class provided some great action-packed racing with Justin Wood and Chris Jerwood hard out the gate and taking off at the front in Moto 1.  All eyes were on Jack Matthews though, who was on the new yzf 250, and was making a charge through the pack, taking the lead at the front to hold on for a win. Tough start to the Maxxis British championship for Team Green MX UK

The opening round of the Maxxis British championship didn’t go the way of Team Green Kawasaki UK. After heavy storms and lots of rain the FatCat circuit was heavy going, but team riders Lewis Hall, Keenan Hird and Kacey Hird were all confident and ready to go, if not all 100%. Unfortunately, after a promising start the results they were looking for never materialised.
