DH: Do you have a Pre-Race Playlist you listen to, and if so, name a couple of tracks on it?

Murray: My playlist before races consists of two songs: alt-j fitzpleasure and alt-j breezeblocks

DH: When was the last time you cried?

Murray: Not really the teary type of person, but the most recent moment I’ve had that was pretty emotional would be doing a lap of honor for someone very close to me in Italy where he sadly lost his life representing his country #660

DH: What is your favourite inspirational quote?

Murray: “your only here once “

DH: Do you have any weird suspicions or pre-race rituals?

Murray: Before the start of every race I pulse both hands six times, kiss my left wrist and look up at the sky, just a little routine I’ve always seem to have done.

DH: What drives you most to get up in the morning and go training?

Murray: My personal trainer Kevin Maguire from step1fitness because if I don’t do it he will slap the **** out of me

DH: If you didn’t race what sport would you play?

Murray: Most likely football or a combat sport

DH: What is your biggest Phobia?

Murray: I have no known phobias

DH: Who is your biggest sporting idol and why?

Murray: I have not really got a sporting idol as such, as I like to create my own legacy, however in terms of determination and motivation I’d definitely take inspiration from Cristiano Ronaldo.

DH: Where do you see yourself in five years time?

Murray: Hopefully achieved the most I can and passing on all my knowledge to my future son for his racing career

DH: What is your all-time favourite movie?

Murray: The Wolf of Wall Street

DH: Who has had the biggest impact on your career?

Murray: The biggest impact on my career has certainly been my family as they have supported me from the first race all the way through making me the person I am today which i am forever thankful for.

DH: What is your philosophy on life?

Murray: My take on life is just that “your only on the planet once so do everything you can whilst you can.”
