A titanic weekend of racing at a fabulous and flowing Duns, was crowned by the battle for the NETT Championship between QXoN team-mates Harry Walker and Murray Graham. Sansom and Murray focus on Quadcross of Nations!
With the 2019 Quadcross of Nations getting ready to take place in Germany next month, two of the Team GB competitors, namely Oli Sansom and Murray Graham, have been putting in the laps to boost their chances of team success.
Murray travelled from Scotland down to Sansom’s all-new practice and training track in the West Midlands and they both put in some solid stints.

The last two rounds of the NETT Quad Championship will be held at Duns, Scotland, this weekend the 7th and 8th of September. The double-header will also count towards the Quad Racing Scotland championship.

Shay Gate bonanza! MCF British Quad XC Championship Round 6 – Race Report & Results
Round 6 of the MCF British XC Championship took place at another new venue for this season at Shay Gate Farm in Colne, Lancashire. A mixture of woodland, open countryside and multiple water hazards awaited the riders.

The Youth Race kicked off the day on Sunday morning in near perfect racing conditions, run over 1.5 hrs it was the reverse of Round 5 with Daniel Burrows taking the win in the 250cc Hybrid class with Tom Bainbridge having to settle for 2nd this time out.

WALKER TAKES EMX QUADCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP PODIUM
Harry Walker, on his PAR Homes Zip Racing ATVsRUs Yamaha, again proved he can run at the top with the very best of the Europeans by taking an impressive third overall in the hotly-contested FIM EMX Quad Championship for the second consecutive year.

Twenty-year-old Walker was in joint fourth place in the championship prior to the final round, tying on points with Poland’s Roman Gwiazda, and a mere two points away from Latvian Valerijs Kuzmins in third. Kevin Saar (Estonia) and Patrick Turrini (Italy) were safely out front in first and second.

SANSOM OPENS TRACK TO QUADS
Oli Sansom is opening his practice and training track to quads this Sunday, the 18th of August, as a fund raiser for the Team GB Quadcross of Nations team, of which he is a central player alongside Harry Walker and Murray Graham.

The all-weather site is, in part, is still under construction and some elements of the ambitious plans are still to be finished, such as showers for the riders, gym, jet wash for machines, floodlights for winter nights, etc, but the actual hard-packed and sand riding areas are good to go.

IOM QUAD ENDURO PAYS DIVIDENDS – Race Report
The Isle of Man quad enduro held last Saturday at Ballaspit Farm proved to be a resounding success. A number of racers from the mainland took advantage of a special travel package and joined IOM residents for the Manx Grass & Sand Racing Club’s three-hour event which was blessed with perfect weather conditions, prize money and trophies.

Jack Price-Draper took the early lead in the Iron Man class. Joint event co-ordinator Matt Thorpe was in third at the end of the first lap, but locals Tom Cannell and Ben Begbie quickly moved out front, leaving Price-Draper in third. The finishing order was Cannell, Begbie, Price-Draper.
