Tommy Searle has confirmed he suffered a concussion and a neck injury after crashing during practice at Round 6 of the 2026 Motul ACU British Motocross Championship at Canada Heights yesterday.
The Dirt Store Triumph rider was forced to withdraw from the meeting before qualifying after crashing on the third lap of practice when the chain on his bike snapped as he landed from a jump.
Searle shared an update with fans on social media following the incident.
“Gutted to not race today at Canada Heights. Chain snapped as I landed off the jump 3rd lap of practice. A bit concussed and a sore neck that I’ll go get scans on tomorrow(today).”

The reigning British Champion arrived at Canada Heights sitting second in the MX2 championship but was unable to take any further part in the meeting, which now sees him relegated to fourth in the standings, 89 points behind series leader Charlie Heyman.
