Yamaha Motor Europe has officially opened registration for the 2027 YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup. Following a record-breaking 2026 season, which featured over 900 riders from more than 30 countries, the search for the next generation of talent continues. Aspiring young racers are encouraged to sign up early to secure their chance to compete on the world stage at the 2027 YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, which will run alongside the prestigious Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Assen, the Netherlands.
Age limits for YZ65 and YZ85 remain aligned with EMX regulations, while the upper age limit for YZ125 is one year less than that allowed in EMX125.

The BLU CRU program creates a professional environment that encourages, nurtures, and develops tomorrow’s racing stars through a clear, structured pathway from grassroots competition to the international stage across both road and off-road racing. More than 900 young riders benefited from BLU CRU initiatives in 2026, confirming its position as the most effective talent-development system in motorcycle racing.
Registration opens the door to the future, presenting a chance to turn dreams into reality. More than just an entry, it is the starting point for a path that leads to the world stage, offering the most promising young talents a gateway to increased Yamaha support for the 2028 season.
Registered BLU CRU riders will compete throughout Europe for one of 120 coveted places on the gate at the 2027 YZ BLU CRU SuperFinale. This season-ending event will take place alongside the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Assen from 8 to 10 October 2027.

The SuperFinale gives Europe’s best the chance to take on the world at the biggest motocross event of the year. Racing before an enormous crowd, riders from multiple continents and over 30 countries will showcase their talent to the industry’s most influential brands and figures at an event that offers unmatched reach and prestige.
At the YZ BLU CRU SuperFinale, the top three riders, together with two carefully selected wildcard riders and the top female racer in each class, will receive an invitation to the prestigious BLU CRU Masterclass. The BLU CRU Masterclass is designed to introduce riders to every aspect of professional racing as they receive expert training and guidance from Yamaha’s BLU CRU Ambassadors.
At the conclusion of the two-day BLU CRU Masterclass, one YZ125 rider will be chosen to join a Yamaha-supported team and contest the EMX125 Championship in 2028. Additionally, one rider from each of the YZ65 and YZ85 categories will receive specialized Yamaha support and GYTR parts for the following season.
Those wishing to line up at the YZ BLU CRU SuperFinale in 2027 should register as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
