With just two rounds of the 2026 AMCA British Motocross Championship remaining, the LRT Yamaha team are closing in on a couple of big, final top-three series placings.

In the 125cc class, though, it’s been far from plain sailing for Jordan Wright! Suffering a broken wrist and rear shock during round two at Bromsberrow in moto four meant zero points return whilst all of his rivals scored big! Undeterred, though, Jordan displayed fantastic character and determination to keep his hopes of glory alive and was on the start line for round three and getting right back in the mix! Throughout the Championship he has been on the podium in four out of five rounds with a hat-trick of runners-up spots and a third placing. Going into the penultimate round, Jordan is holding third in the Championship table and 45 points off top spot, so it could well still happen for him!
Also campaigning on a 125cc Yamaha machine, Tyler Lane has competed in both the Clubman Seniors and Juniors classes. Really mixing it up in what is an unlimited class in which he has had to take on those 250F and 450F machines, Tyler has certainly worked very hard for all of the points he has gained! His best score of the season so far has come in round four at Lower Drayton, scoring Juniors class 5/6/7/4 placings and 6th overall. Last time out at Hawkstone Park, he was inside the top ten overall again with a 9th place.
Following his injury in 2025, LRT team boss Simon Lane has returned in style during 2026. In rounds at Bromsberrow, Brookthorpe and Lower Drayton, he’s been on the Vet’s Over 50’s podium as a runner-up. Although a moto one crash at Hawkstone Park ruined that podium run, Simon is still holding a great silver medal position in the Championship table and 93 points clear of Aaron Crowder, the rider currently sitting in 4th spot.
