With 22 classes in action across three tracks, the event showcased the full pathway of youth motocross from 3-year-old balance bike riders to 85cc big wheel competitors alongside the continued evolution of electric racing.
Thanks to a well-executed schedule, organisers successfully completed 5 full blocks of racing by 1pm on Sunday, allowing many families to begin their journeys home early, another example of the rider-focused approach behind the EMX Sparks series.

The weekend also marked the introduction of new classes for 2026, including 65cc and 85cc petrol categories alongside expanded electric youth classes, all of which were met with strong entries and competitive racing.

Event Organiser, Mark Thomas, commented: “The warm-up event was all about trying something new before we go racing for real at Round 1. We wanted to test the format, the schedule, and how we deliver the event for riders and families.

“To run 22 classes across three tracks and complete five full blocks of racing by 1pm on Sunday shows what’s possible when everything comes together. It meant a smooth running event, minimal delays, and importantly gave families the chance to get on the road early after a full weekend of racing.

“That’s exactly what EMX Sparks is about high quality racing, well organised, and built around the riders and their families.”

This structured approach continues to set EMX Sparks apart, delivering maximum track time while keeping the event accessible for riders and families travelling from across the UK.
