It was a tense affair for the Essex-based racer who missed on out a direct qualifying position from his heat race which meant a trip to the LCQ.

A superb start saw him up in the top two which a top four position needed to make the coveted Main Event, but he was being hounded from behind with Red Bull Factory KTM racer Max Vohland getting into the mix before he crashed out.  Dylan though managed to keep his cool to grab the fourth and final spot.

In the main event, he was sent wide by some first bend carnage but finished the race in 20th position, putting three points on the board in the Championship.

On his social media Dylan said this about his day, “San Diego started off pretty rough in free practice I landed on my head in the whoops and first timed practice had a electronic issue,

Then some how scraped the night show in P37th in the last time practice.

Had a decent start In the LCQ was riding more like my self with some decent laps ending 4th and transferring me to the main.

Huge thank you to all my sponsors and the people that are making happen for me this year I really appreciate it.”

Dylan now returns to Anaheim this Saturday for A2 with eyes on making another Main event.
