ACU to recruit ACU British Enduro Championship Series Manager! Want the Job??

The ACU Trials and Enduro Committee are looking to recruit a Series Manager for the ACU British Enduro Championship.

The candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about the future of British motorcycle sport, and enduro in particular. They will have an eye for quality, attention to detail and a desire to raise the profile and professionalism of British Enduro

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Attendance at all British Enduro Championship events.
  • Preparation and transport of ACU kit to support organisers.
  • Responsibility to improve the ACU presence at events, including through the provision of additional infrastructure.
  • Preparation of a ‘pro forma’ for organisers, detailing the expectations of, and support from, various aspects of the BEC series.
  • Assistance with date setting for events, and securing of venues.
  • Assisting organisers to host successful events.
  • Provision of media coverage, including writing of press articles, social media presence, and engagement with traditional print media both within the sport and local communities.
  • Liaison with existing and securing additional sponsors.
  • Spending of allocated budget to further the series.

The ideal candidate will have existing experience of enduro events management, management of volunteers, and financial awareness, together with an understanding from a riders’ perspective. Critically, the candidate will be able to work constructively with a range of stakeholders from ACU officials and staff, to organising clubs and promoters, sponsors and the media. Above all, the candidate will have a true love for the sport of enduro.

Pay and benefits

  • Remuneration linked to the number of events held in a calendar year, fully covering expenses and a day rate.
  • Bonus scheme linked to additional sponsorship secured.
  • Presence and profile at exemplar National level events.

The position will report to the ACU Trials and Enduro Committee.

The successful candidate will be initially contracted for the final two weekends of the 2022 ACU Michelin British Enduro Championship (Witley MCC and RAW Enduro), with a view to, if successful, being contracted for the full 2023 season.
