What a fantastic weekend of racing we witnessed at Round 2 of the 2026 EMX Sparks British Masters Championship in association with Amped Bikes.
Race Report and Images by EMX Sparks
Round 2 will certainly live long in the memory. After arriving at Monster Mountain to what looked more like a winter motocross meeting than the middle of June, few could have predicted the glorious conditions that followed. Overnight rain left the venue looking extremely wet, but thanks to the incredible efforts of the Monster Mountain track crew and the venue’s superb all-weather tracks, conditions improved rapidly throughout Saturday as the sunshine broke through.
By Sunday morning the circuit was in outstanding condition. The track crew worked tirelessly throughout the weekend, re-preparing and watering each circuit where required, producing fantastic racing conditions across all three tracks.
The weekend began on the Monster Mini Junior Track, where the youngest riders once again proved that the future of motocross is in very safe hands.
