Sherco Racing Factory’s Steve Holcombe has been crowned the 2026 FIM Enduro3 World Champion at the final round of the series the EnduroGP of Wales, securing his 10th world title on home soil and becoming the joint second most successful EnduroGP rider of all time.

With huge crowds turning out for the final round of the season, Holcombe opened his home GP with a cautious ninth in Friday evening’s Super Test. On Saturday, the Brit settled quickly into the dry and demanding Welsh special tests and remained in the fight at the sharp end of the EnduroGP classification throughout the day. Finishing fourth overall, just 0.29 seconds from the overall podium, Steve secured a commanding Enduro3 victory to maintain his championship advantage.
With the title on the line, Sunday proved a tougher day for Holcombe as he focused on managing his championship lead. A difficult start put him on the back foot. Despite fighting throughout the day, he finished 11th overall and fourth in Enduro3. Crucially, his points haul was enough to secure the championship by four points and crown him FIM Enduro3 World Champion for the fourth time.
Holcombe finishes the 2026 EnduroGP season fourth overall in the EnduroGP championship, having stood on the overall podium four times during the year. In Enduro3, his remarkable consistency saw him finish on the class podium at every round, recording nine victories and two runner-up finishes on his way to the title. The championship marks his 10th world crown, achieved in his first season with Sherco Racing Factory after returning to competition following a year away from racing following injury.
Steve Holcombe: “It’s an incredible feeling to be world champion again, especially after everything that’s happened over the last couple of years. Day one in Wales was really good. I rode well, won the Enduro3 class and did exactly what I needed to do for the championship. Day two started well too, but I made a mistake in the extreme test that cost me a lot of time and gave me a bit of a scare. After that I rode quite tight and had another small crash, so it was really about staying focused and making sure I did enough to get the job done. To come away from my home GP as Enduro3 world champion and secure my 10th world title is something I’m incredibly proud of.
