All eyes will be on the current Champion Luke Parker – RWT MPM Kawasaki 450 Kawasaki who will be battling it out with GH M/Cs rider Ben Cole – 450 Husky, Shaun Southgate 450 Yamaha and Ben Clarke – 300 Beta UK.

Nine times World Enduro Champion Steve Holcombe – Red Moto Honda 250 and former British Enduro Champion Alex Snow – 350 Gas Gas have both entered the event. However, event favourite must be Parker who is the master of the Thetford terrain with the ability to put in very quick times with or without berms.

The Santon Enduro continues to be popular and filled up with 200 riders in less than 10 minutes with riders making the journey from all over the UK.

The start time will be 09.00 with the test timed on the first two laps for all classes. In a change for 2024 we are planning for championship to do at least 2 “back-to-back” tests on lap 3, and possibly 3 if there is sufficient time. Therefore, the Championship riders won’t be riding the course on lap 3. The first rider on the test is at 9.03 and Championship and Expert riders should have 5 laps and Clubmen 4 laps.

As ever, we must thank our long-term sponsors, GH Motorcycles and G&B Finch, plus iD DECALS for providing the rider numbers and coloured backgrounds. Massive thanks to all officials, marshals and helpers that enable us to run this event. We wish all riders a safe and successful day – please respect our forest, use environment mats for machine refuelling and for any generators. Don’t leave any litter and keep the main fire tracks clear as these are first aid access points.
