Wainwright joins Walsh at Revo Seven Kawasaki for 2022!

After returning to Kawasaki in 2021 following an eight-year hiatus, Revo Seven Kawasaki will become the official Team Green Kawasaki squad in MX1 and MX2 for 2022, signing Dylan Walsh and Jamie Wainright to compete for championship honours.

Based in Daventry, the team will be competing in the full British MX Championship in both classes alongside select rounds of the world MXGP series. Having shown he has the pace to fight for the MX1 title, before injury curtailed his season, the team will be retaining the services of Dylan Walsh for 2022. Again competing on KX450 machinery, the 2019 MX2 Champion will be setting his sights on glory in the premier class.

Joining the team for next season will be Jamie Wainwright, who will be campaigning a Revo Seven Kawasaki KX250 in the British MX2 class. With a best result of fourth, Jamie has shown incredible promise throughout 2021 and the team will be supporting him to take a further step forward in 2022.

Sam Yates, Revo Seven Kawasaki Team Manager:

“I am really pleased that the team have now been recognised as the official Kawasaki UK team for MX2 and MX1 and we are looking forward to growing the team and representing Kawasaki in the 2022 season.

It’s great that we are in the position to be able to run a 250cc program with the newly signed Jamie Wainwright aboard the KX250, while It’s been great to re-sign Dylan, too, for the 450 British championships and we hope he can fight for the title next season!”

Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department at Kawasaki UK:

“We at Kawasaki UK are excited to elevate the Revo Seven Kawasaki team to official status off the back of their commitment and investment to pursue the MX1 and now MX2 British Championships. It was so disappointing to see Dylan get injured half way through this year as who knows what he could have achieved had he been fit for every round.

I am sure he will come out fighting in 2022 to try once again. We would also like to extend a warm welcome to Jamie into the Team Green family and are confident he will do the team proud as he progresses his career within the MX2 class”
