Our friends at 999lazer join pro motocross rider Josh Spinks as he races his YZ500 two stroke at a national MX championship against some of the fastest 450cc riders in the country.

Episode one of ‘For the Love of 2 Strokes’ season 3 takes us to the deep sands of Fatcat motoparc for the opening round of the 2026 British Masters MX championship. Defending series champion Josh Spinks has decided to mix things up for 2026 and – with the support of the P1 Racing team – he has built his own YZM500 2 Stroke using the YZM500 conversion kit from BRC racing. He enters round one knowing that he’s got one hell of a fight on his hands as he’ll be taking on some of the best 450 4 Stroke racers in the nation, including the reigning British MX1 champion (and one of the most talented dirt bike riders in the world) Conrad Mewse. This is going to be tough, but if it was easy it wouldn’t be this cool! Enjoy guys!”
