Sharpen up for 2023 with RAW Enduro Sprint Enduro Opener

For the second year running RAW Enduro are starting their competitive events a little sooner in 2023.

February 4th 5th sees the season fire into life with the Metzeler Super Sprint rounds 1 and 2 running that weekend.

What’s a RAW Super Sprint?

At all 3 weekends (6 Rounds total) Riders will run a sighting lap each day before timed laps start at 10am. The Super Sprint aspect means when riders finish the timed test they will ride a short liaison “Out loop” which then runs back to the paddock. This will reduce the amount of time between each timed test, and crucially means riders won’t get cold waiting sometime 20 minutes for their next lap. All in all More bike time and more for spectators to watch.

Who will take first blood? In 2022 big names like Dan Mundell, Ryan Crowder, and the Ditchfield’s were amongst the riders fighting for Scratch top honours.

Driffield is a Fantastic MOD venue which has varied terrain, showing his experience Clerk of the course Wayne Braybrook will run a good part of the course through the flowing woodlands which is always protected from the weather, with some cool open sections for the faster element. One thing is for sure this will be a Good long traditional Enduro Sprint Lap!!
