Motoring at the Mountain! 2026 Amped EMX Sparks British Masters Round 1 - Report & Results

The 2026 Amped EMX Sparks British Masters roared into life at Monster Mountain MX with an incredible opening round packed full of exciting racing, dramatic battles, new classes, new riders, and the next generation of motocross talent delivering a superb weekend of action.

With sunshine lighting up Saturday and strong winds testing riders on Sunday, the youngsters rose to the challenge in true championship fashion, producing bar-to-bar racing across both the Main Track and Junior Tracks.
The 2026 season promises to be the biggest yet for the series, with expanding classes, growing rider numbers, and some of the best youth motocross and electric motocross racing in the UK.

MAIN TRACK REPORTS

E9 MX Youth

Poppy Birkett was in sensational form throughout the weekend, taking a dominant clean sweep of victories and securing maximum championship points in commanding style. Poppie Randall’s consistency across all motos earned a strong second overall, while hard-charging William Ahern finished just three points behind in third after some impressive rides. Jemmima Tooley showed excellent pace all weekend but was unlucky with mechanical issues and a heavy fall whilst battling for second position in one race, eventually finishing fourth overall.

E8

Miles Boucher delivered a flawless performance with maximum points and a convincing overall victory. Frank Wallis remained close throughout the weekend in second overall, while Ted Tooley completed the podium in third.

85cc Small Wheel

Jexten Taylor was one of the standout performers of the weekend, taking an impressive maximum points haul while battling against both the big wheel 85cc machines and E8 bikes combined on track. Cadi Bradshaw rode consistently for second overall, with Efan Jones securing third. Ethan Evans finished fourth, followed by Arlo Jones in fifth.

85cc Big Wheel

Oli Staples controlled the class throughout the weekend and comfortably secured the overall victory, narrowly missing out on maximum points. Amiee Needs impressed with a superb second overall, while Oli Murphy edged out Cameron Addis for third by just six points.

E6

Teddy Franklin took the honours in the E6 class after a strong and consistent weekend of riding. Neveah Rivers rode maturely for second overall, while Lily Mae Brown completed the podium places. Reuban Hinge finished fourth with Jesse Nother rounding out the top five.

65cc Youth

The 65cc Youth class produced some of the most exciting racing of the weekend. Myles Chee emerged victorious overall with fast and consistent performances across every moto. Ellis Owen secured second overall and claimed multiple race wins, while Milo Williams’ aggressive riding style earned him a deserved podium finish. Kaylum Clarke showed podium pace throughout the weekend but a non-score in Moto 1 dropped him to sixth overall despite being among the fastest riders in the class. Oscar Lewis finished fourth overall, closely followed by Paisley Cleft who delivered several excellent rides through the pack. Mia Jones battled hard for seventh, ahead of Harper Newton, Ortus Simons and Beau Hinge who completed the top ten.

E3

Marley Jobson was untouchable throughout the weekend, taking every race victory and maximum championship points in sensational fashion. The battle for second overall went right down to the wire, with Blake Thomas narrowly edging Cameron Raynes by just two points. Behind the podium positions there were intense battles throughout the field. Henry Chamley secured fourth overall ahead of Cooper Kempin in fifth and Santiago Khakbazan in sixth. Jimmy Smith finished only five points further back in seventh, followed by Freddie Mason and Lachlan Nicholson.

E5

The E5 class delivered some of the most competitive racing of the entire event. Tommy Bridges was in outstanding form and secured the overall victory, although Theo Hancock pushed him all weekend with some storming rides through the pack and a race win of his own. Teddy Williams completed the podium, while Harry Perkins took fourth. Further back the points battle remained incredibly tight. Elvis Hugh finished fifth, with Ruben Williams taking sixth on countback ahead of Auley Luxton after the pair finished tied on points. Rufus Culliford was only one point behind in eighth, with Finley Moore another single point back in ninth. Ricoh Burke Easton completed the top ten.

50cc Auto Small Wheel

The Small Wheel Auto class produced a thrilling battle for the victory between eventual winner Amiyah Haughton and Theo Hancock, with only three points separating the pair at the end of the weekend. Jacob Perkins secured third overall, while Hunter Martin finished fourth just ahead of Tommi Lewis in fifth.
Completing the top ten were Theo Hicks Evans, Tommy White, Logan Thompson, Ajay Claremount and Seb Summerill.

50cc Auto Big Wheel

Charlie Needs dominated the Big Wheel Auto class with a faultless maximum points weekend. Ronnie Evans secured second overall just six points ahead of the consistent Olivia Daniel in third. Apollo Newton finished fourth, while Henry Davey completed the top five. Roczen Hickey tied on points with Davey but lost out on countback for sixth overall. Reuben Grabham, Beauden Szpadt and Mason Cooke rounded out the top nine.

JUNIOR TRACK REPORTS

12” E-Drive

Chester Crump was in exceptional form, taking maximum points and a dominant overall victory. Jettson Chesswell was consistently in the battle for podium positions and secured second overall ahead of Rowan Seal in third. Alfie Hughes finished only two points off the podium in fourth, with Ruben Lee completing the top five. Maisie White narrowly missed out on fifth after finishing just four points behind.

16” 250W E-Drive

Poppy Meredith controlled the class throughout the weekend to secure the overall victory. Noah Dark claimed several race wins on his way to second overall, while Albie-Grey Mellows completed the podium only four points behind. Effie Thomas finished fourth, ahead of Henry Waterman in fifth.

16” 400W E-Drive

Tommy White dominated the class with maximum points and some excellent riding. Boycie Clements secured second overall while Jimmy Smith completed the podium. Cree Ryker Grant finished fourth with Jesse Aldred taking fifth.

E1 Junior

Freddy Fenwick delivered a perfect weekend to secure maximum points and the overall victory.

18” E-Drive

Harry Meredith was outstanding all weekend, securing a clean sweep of race wins and maximum points. Ezra Guyton finished second overall, six points ahead of Joey Jones in third. Aria Jones rode consistently for fourth overall, while Seb Carr completed the top five.

20” E-Drive

The 20” E-Drive class was packed with action from start to finish. Cian Bradshaw secured the overall victory after some dynamic riding performances, finishing just four points ahead of Alfie Aldred who also claimed a race win during the weekend. Emy Gardner took third overall ahead of Freya Waterman in fourth and Jesse Nother in fifth.

E2

Simon Crocker was in dominant form all weekend and secured maximum points with a commanding overall victory. William Jago finished second overall just two points ahead of Boston Cleft in third. Archer Safe narrowly missed the podium only two points further back in fourth, while Cree Ryker Grant completed the top five. Harri Llewellyn took sixth ahead of Dylan Seal and Arthur Thomas James.

E4

Boycie Clements secured the overall victory by just three points after a close battle with George Fenwick in second. Reggie Lewis completed the podium.

PW50

The PW50 class once again proved hugely entertaining. Taytum Hickey secured the overall victory ahead of Denni Morris in second. Jax Nicholas looked set for the overall win after taking three race victories on Saturday, but crashes on Sunday dropped him back to third overall. Henri Lewis finished fourth with Liliana Stephens completing the top five.

Round 1 delivered an incredible start to the 2026 championship season, showcasing the future stars of motocross and electric motocross in front of a fantastic crowd at Monster Mountain MX. Attention now turns to Round 2 this June, where championship battles are already beginning to heat up.
