Eastern Centre Awards Night – Report, Winners & Pictures

Needham Market Community Centre was the host venue for the 2021 Eastern Centre Awards Night on 30th March 2022 with Dave Barkshire Motorcycles & Gavin Hockey Motorcycles

With a healthy representation from the eastern centre clubs dominated by Sudbury club members collecting awards across the two championships, it was nice to see everyone out in force supporting the region’s Sponsors awards night following the ACU awards night the previous week.

With Dave Barkshire & Gavin Hockey on hand to deliver the 8 title awards and places to third place across the classes, a light-hearted evening was spent after a few years of uncertainness with corona disrupting many races and events planned.

With the first round of the British Enduro Championship upon us best wishes were relayed to all the eastern centre members participating and hope after Jake Ropers Clubman win last year they have a successful season.

It was with much sadness a very fond fair well was said to Vera Hearn who is retiring after decades as Eastern Centre secretary looking after queries by the thousand and organising all the eastern centre meetings and awards, she will be sorely missed.
