World Supercross Birmingham countdown is on – British GP tickets on sale

World Supercross Birmingham 2026 British GP at Alexander Stadium

The countdown is on to the return of World Supercross to British soil, with just over five weeks remaining until the FIM World Supercross Championship fires back into action at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium on Saturday, October 10.

Paid partnership with the FIM World Supercross Championship.

It’s been three years since British fans last had the opportunity to watch World Supercross on home soil, but that wait is nearly over, with Birmingham hosting Round 2 of the 2026 championship.

Alexander Stadium will be converted into a top-notch Supercross track for the event, with the British GP bringing World Supercross racing back to the UK for the first time since 2023.

And with tickets now on sale, there’s still plenty of time to make plans to be there.

World Supercross returns to British soil

The British GP follows the opening round of the championship in Calgary and will be the first opportunity for European fans to see the 2026 World Supercross field in action, including home hero Max Anstie who leads the SX2 championship.

Birmingham then kicks off a busy second half of the season, with Buenos Aires following two weeks later before the championship continues to the Gold Coast, South Africa and Christchurch.

But you don’t necessarily need to be following the championship week-in, week-out to enjoy what’s coming to Birmingham.

World Supercross delivers a different short-format of SX racing on a purpose-built stadium track, meaning the racing is fast, furious and intense.

For British motocross and Supercross fans, it’s also a rare opportunity to see this level of stadium racing without having to travel overseas.

A full afternoon and evening of Supercross

There’s more going on than simply turning up for the main races.

The current event schedule has the Fan Zone opening from 12pm, with Early Entry from 2pm for eligible ticket holders. Main gates are scheduled to open at 5pm, ahead of the show starting at 6pm and the racing getting underway from 6.30pm.

The British GP is scheduled to conclude at approximately 9pm. WSX advises that the event timings remain subject to change.

Fans looking for more access can also choose from a range of upgrades and VIP packages, including Early Entry and Track & Pit Walk experiences.
