Rider Updates: Liam Everts, Conrad Mewse, Harri Kullas, and Jamie Carpenter in for Ashbrook Hawkstone International

The line-up for the Ashbrook Hawkstone International Powered By Syntol Lubricants is building nicely as we countdown to just over 10 weeks from the race itself – on the 25th of February!

First of all, with the line “You asked … we try to deliver!!” Hawkstone’s social media buzzed with the news that “British Champion Conrad Mewse WILL be racing at Hawkstone! Welcome back Conrad!”

After cleaning up at the Revo British Championship round there in 2023, and clinching the MX Nationals title a few months later in Shropshire, Conrad has always said how much he enjoys the circuit and for sure will be looking to defend the nation’s honour against the likes of Jeffrey Herlings, Glenn Coldenhoff, and Brent van Doninck in the MX1 class.

One catch for Conrad is that he will be driving straight across from the last round of the Arenacross Tour at Wembley, being held the previous night!  So if he wins that title there will be no time for any celebrations!

Also set to make the trip from Wembley will be three-time MX Nationals Champion Harri Kullas. With the FUS Marsh Husqvarna team competing in Arenacross, he has confirmed that he will be in Shropshire the following day as well. Fingers crossed that this means he will be competing on the British stage throughout 2024.

His former teammate Jamie Carpenter will also be lining up on his JC184 machine, in preparation for a busy year on the National scene.

Most recently, almost in reply to us here from Dirt Hub’s Futures Friday feature, the Hawkstone people announced: “Someone say Liam Everts? Yep we heard you and yep he’ll be there, February 25th!!”, which means he will go head-to-head in the standalone MX2 class races with his Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teammate, Andrea Adamo!

We look forward to more announcements, and sympathise with those teams who are facing a very hectic weekend to start the season!

There is one big question though….. is the hill in? 😉 (Image: Crendon Fastrack Honda)
