MX Nationals move to the ACU for the remainder of 2021 and beyond…

The Michelin MX Nationals has revealed that for the remainder of the 2021 season and for 2022 they will be changing affiliation from Nora Motorsport to the ACU.

An announcement on their website said…

For the last two rounds of the year, we are making some changes ahead of the new 2022 championship.

We will run under the ACU federation – don’t panic if you don’t have an ACU license. We have got you covered for the last two rounds of the 2021 season and most importantly we will not have any date clashes with the 8 rounds of the Revo Championship in 2022!

The ACU will now consider results from the MX Nationals series for riders looking to race the ACU British championship or rounds of the EMX series in 2022.

Clubmen classes will be split by capacity for the last two rounds. Riders that take part in the last two races of this year’s series will take priority when registering for next years ‘ACU British Clubmen championship.’ An official ACU British champion title.

Pro riders will only race the Fastest 40 races on Sunday – no races Saturday.

Experts will race 4 combined MX1/MX2 races over the weekend. Results from this class will be considered for riders wishing to compete in the ACU British Championship next season. This class will in effect become the British Qualifying championship

MXY Youth riders wishing to race the Revo British championship or enter EMX races can now use their results at the MX nationals to apply for an entry.

The Michelin MX Nationals Team Look forward to seeing you all at Landrake on the 14th/15th August and then a week later for the Final round of the series at Cusses Gorse including the Phoenix Tools Straight Rhythm.
