Morris Racing Team has announced plans to make its debut in the 2027 British Motocross Championship (MXGB), with two riders set to represent the team at a selected round of the series.
The team, founded by Mark Morris JNR in late 2022, is preparing to take a significant step forward by entering one rider in the MX1 class and another in MX2, with both competing under the Morris Racing Team banner.
The ambitious project will see two established British riders brought together for a one-off championship appearance, with the aim of raising the team’s profile and laying the foundations for further involvement in top-level motocross.

Having developed the Morris Racing Team name through racing, YouTube and its involvement in the wider motocross community, Morris is now looking to take the operation to the next level.
Morris Racing Team Manager Mark Morris JNR said: “Starting Morris Racing Team back in late 2022, I always had a vision of where I wanted to take the brand. This is a massive step towards making that happen. I’ve worked hard to build the name through racing, YouTube and the wider motocross community, and now I want to give something back to the sport by providing two fantastic riders with an opportunity to represent the team at British Championship level.
“This is just the beginning. The ambition is to keep growing, with the long-term goal of competing in full championship campaigns and potentially expanding into Arenacross and other major series.”
While the initial plans centre on a single British Championship round in 2027, the team’s longer-term ambitions could see it become a more regular presence in the national motocross scene.
The identities of the two riders, along with the selected championship round and further details of the project, will be revealed in due course.
