Jonny Walker maintains second in the 2025 SuperEnduro World Championship after tough slog in Poland

Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team’s Jonny Walker has finished fifth overall at round four of the 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Poland. With a SuperPole victory and improving race results of 6-5-3, Jonny got stronger as the evening went on to retain second overall in the championship standings with three rounds left to contest.

Kicking off the evening’s action in Lodz, Walker claimed his first SuperPole victory of the season after a dominant lap which saw him edge out rival Billy Bolt by six hundredths of a second. Making the most of his favourable start position for race one, Jonny exited the first corner in third place. However, an error in the rock garden on the opening lap proved costly for the TF 250 racer, leaving him to fight back from 10th place. Picking off competitors lap by lap, Walker ultimately crossed the line in sixth.

Race two’s reverse-grid start didn’t hinder Jonny as he quickly made his way into fifth by the end of lap one. Still in the fight for a potential podium result, the Brit used his skill and experience to deliver a mistake-free ride on the Atlas Arena’s unique and technical track. Holding his ground until the chequered flag, Walker clocked a fifth-place finish.

Jonny stormed out of the gate in the third final, securing the holeshot and leading the pack into the last race of the evening. While pushing hard to defend his lead, Jonny made a small mistake on lap four, which left him in fourth place with just three laps to go. The Brit was undeterred and dug deep in the closing stages of the race to claim his first podium finish of the night in third place.

After a mixed bag of results in Lodz, Jonny was forced to settle for fifth overall at round four. However, thanks to his excellent results in previous rounds, Walker retains second place in the overall championship standings with three rounds left to race. The 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship continues in one week’s time on the 8th February, with round five in Budapest, Hungary.

Jonny Walker “It was a bit of a rough night here in Poland. We got off to a great start with the SuperPole win, which was great, and made some good steps forward with the bike. But during the race I just didn’t feel comfortable, I was really struggling with arm pump. We made a few changes for the last race which felt better, but we have got more work to do. Overall, we’ve made good progress tonight and I’m looking forward to round five next week.”
