Making its long-awaited return to the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar after a 26-year absence, the iconic Wiltshire venue will host Round 12 of the 2026 series, with the title races in MXGP, MX2, WMX and EMX125 all entering a crucial stage.

For British fans, it also represents the biggest opportunity of the year to see the country’s leading riders go head-to-head with the world’s best on home soil.
MXGP: Coenen Defends the Red Plate
The premier class arrives at Foxhill with the championship battle heating up.
Lucas Coenen carries the MXGP red plate into Britain after another outstanding season aboard the Red Bull KTM, but there is no shortage of riders determined to stop the Belgian extending his advantage.
Five-time World Champion Jeffrey Herlings has rediscovered his best form in recent rounds and has been slowly closing the gap, while reigning World Champion Romain Febvre remains firmly a rider in contention this weekend.
Former World Champion Tim Gajser will also be looking to return to the top step, as will Maxime Renaux, Andrea Adamo, Ruben Fernandez, Tom Vialle and more capable of challenging at the front around one of motocross’s most famous circuits.
British Interest
Leading the home charge is Ben Watson, who will be hoping to put his recent MXGB disappointment behind him after a broken chain cost him a potential podium at Canada Heights.
Chambers Racing KTM rider Adam Sterry arrives at Foxhill in decent form after another solid performance in the British Championship, while South African, adopted Brit Tristan Purdon heads to Wiltshire full of confidence after claiming an MXGB podium last weekend, while local rider Taylor Hammal will have the support of the home crowd.
