Last time out, the unknown quantity of Randy Naveaux stormed to victory with a 2-1 finish, as he led Walker and Turrini on the podium, but the fight for the title is seemingly between the two protagonists of last year’s campaign once again. At the end of the first race, we shall be exactly half-way through the season so all focus shall be shifting from race results to overall points hauls as the latter half of the season commences. One year ago at this event, Mark McLernon took the overall victory and he shall undoubtedly be looking to recapture the glory once again, as he impresses further throughout the season despite his unfortunate opening weekend in Kramolin. Series leader, Turrini, took victory in the first race last year, too, but would suffer a poor result in race 2 which thwarted his championship challenge – he will he hoping for no such drama this year!

Karl Robin Rillo has proven his speed and skill throughout the season so far, taking both holeshots in Kramolin, but has not yet stood on the podium this year. If he can get a good start on his Yamaha, he may well be a thorn in the side of both Walker and Turrini.

As ever, the European Quadcross championsip will run alongside the FIM World Sidecarcross championship, with qualifying and races being streamed live, as it happens, on the FIM-Moto TV platform.
