It has been a challenging day of racing in Cozar, Spain. Yesterday’s rain made the track heavy and deep as the 2025 MXGP of Castilla La Mancha qualifying races and the EMX125 and EMX250 first motos took place.
In MXGP, Tim Gajser worked his way past Maxime Renaux to take the win, while Thibault Benistant took an impressive win in MX2.
It has been a tough day for the Brits, though, with Bobby Bruce not qualifying for the EMX250 races and reports of a broken collarbone for Jamie Keith in EMX125 and an injury to John Adamson, too.
A shoutout to Hayden Statt, who scored an EMX125 point with a good 20th position on his debut in the class.
