The UK was the last destination of the 2021 GASGAS United In Dirt tour, and became the first country to host the 2022 iteration of this exciting event. A celebration of all things GASGAS, 20 machines were primed for action at the legendary venue of Yorkshire’s Fat Cat Motoparc. The fresh off the production line 2023 TXT Racing trials range were joined by GASGAS’s new street bikes – the SM 700 supermoto machine and the ES 700 dual sport bike. And with Fat Cat hosting the event, naturally every bike from the adult MC Motocross range had a run out around the Doncaster track.
The aim of the day was simple – to ride as much as possible! United In Dirt isn’t about striving for a factory contract or block passing each and every rival. It’s about trying new two-wheeled disciplines, enjoying learning fresh skills and ending the day with a big grin on your face. And it was very much mission accomplished, with the journalists, influencers and dealers attending all having a blast.
Expert advice was on hand all day and some of the country’s best riders and racers were also available to point people in the right direction! On the trials front it came in the form in the form of 2021 Trial125 World Champion, Jack Dance, and Stuart Day, who runs his Trials Day school in the Peak District. Covering both motocross and enduro was current British Enduro Championship leader Alex Snow and his team from his newly established Alex Snow Off-Road experience.
John Adamson, who finished fourth in the 2022 Revo ACU British Motocross Championship was also on hand with some impressive riding on the motocross track. Between them, they guided each participant through each discipline, offering key tips and encouraging riders to try new terrain, new lines, even new riding disciplines!
