The nine young British motocross racers who will represent Team GB at the 2026 Coupe de l’Avenir in Belgium have been announced, with three-rider teams selected for the 65cc, 85cc and Open classes.
The prestigious international event, often regarded as one of the major international showcases for young motocross talent, takes place at Baisieux (Quiévrain), Belgium, on 26th and 27th September.
Flying the Union flag in the 65cc category will be Jack Waters, Tommy Wood and Cohen Llewellyn, while Cohen Jagielski, Casey Lister and Jett Gardiner make up a strong British 85cc squad.
Completing the nine-rider Team GB line-up in the Open class are Jayden Jones, Malachi Allan and Chris Brindley.

The riders have been selected by the ACU Team GB management group of Dave Garland, Lee Bolt, Mark Chamberlain and Steven Sword.
There is plenty of international experience within the squad, with several of the selected youngsters having already represented Great Britain during the 2026 season.
Waters in particular heads to Belgium following a superb year in which he made British motocross history by claiming the EMX65 European Championship, while a number of the Coupe de l’Avenir selections were also part of the Team GB squad for this summer’s FIM Junior Motocross World Championship.
The Coupe de l’Avenir has long provided emerging riders with an opportunity to represent their countries and test themselves against some of Europe’s leading young motocross talent.
Team GB will now head to Belgium looking to make its mark across all three categories when the 2026 edition fires into life on 26th September.
