Sterry storms Cwmythig Hill! Rhayader MCC Midweek Motocross – Rundown & Results

Adam Sterry made a successful return to his homeland by winning the 2022 Rhayader MCC Midweek Motocross at Cwmythig Hill in front of a huge crowd last night.

Sterry beat the two form men of British Motocross; Harri Kullas and Tommy Searle by going 1-1-2 with Kullas gaining victory in the final moto making it a Sterry, Kullas, Searle podium.

There were impressive performances from John Adamson and Gavin Stevenson who were both right in the mix with Jake Millward taking two seconds before a DNF in the final moto put him out of the running.

Brooklyn Evans was the top Expert beating his opponents in each moto to take the win ahead of Tomos Wright and Sam Davies.

In the Clubman Bradley Price and Levi Davies shared the moto wins, but the overall would go the way of Price by taking the chequers twice. Davies was second with Matt Sloman rounding out the podium.

Gary Davies went three for three in the Vets with Craig Chamberlain second overall and Ashleigh James third.

Over in the Ladies class, Rheanna Morgan-Rogers maxed out and grabbed the victory ahead of Zoe Zembrzuski and Caitlin Newman.

Ieuan Brooks was the king of the Novice class winning all three motos. Scott Lloyd and Ben Weaver were second and third.

Steffan Phillips took the spoils in the beginner’s category with Wayne Vaughan second and Kieran Price third.

Congratulations to the Rhayader Motorcycle Club for once again putting on a fantastic event.
