Round 2 of the Amped EMX Sparks British Masters brought high energy, tight racing, and a brilliant showcase of youth motocross talent to Pembrey MX in South Wales. With competitors ranging from balance bikes to 50cc petrol machines, and conditions that tested every rider.
Dry spells and a technically demanding layout kept the field on their toes, and the racing across every class delivered on every level. Here’s a complete breakdown of the weekend’s results and highlights:
12″ E-Drive Class
Taytum Hickey was unstoppable with six race wins and maximum points. Archer Safe and George Edwards rounded out the top three with consistent and aggressive rides. Paxton Price, Coby Dunstan, and Boston Cleft also impressed in a deep field.
16″ 250w E-Drive Class
Henry Davey overcame an early setback to storm through the second day and claim the overall win. Cian Bradshaw opened the weekend with a moto victory and finished second, while Ronnie Gardner, Seb Carr, and Billy Randall fought for every inch of track. Aria Jones and Eli Carr showed great form in the midfield.
16″ 350w E-Drive Class
A clean sweep from Theo Hancock saw him top the class with 270 points. Mason Cooke gave a strong chase for second, and Lloyd Evans Price, in only his first appearance in the class, delivered a standout third-place finish.
18″ Balance Bike (Ages 9–12)
Luca Symmons put on a perfect performance with a full set of race wins and a 270-point total. Leo Xuereb wasn’t far behind, pushing hard all weekend and showing great potential with a strong second-place finish.
18″ 5–8 E-Drive Balance Bike
New to the race scene, Rio Coburn made a big impression, taking control of the class and showing great potential throughout the weekend. He was strongly challenged by Milo Williams and Paisley Cleft, both of whom were also in the mix and pushing hard for top results.
Harper Newton was right in the battle with the leading trio, delivering consistent rides across the weekend to keep the championship points tight heading into the next rounds.
Auley Luxton and Nevaeh Rivers completed the top six, with some fantastic racing and close finishes that kept the spectators on their feet.
20″ Balance Bike Class
Jake Clare Carless was flawless in the 20” class, delivering a clean sweep by winning every moto. Ted Tooley and Caddy Bradshaw battled closely throughout the weekend, securing second and third respectively, making it an all Amped Pro 20 podium. Poppy Randall made an impressive debut, finishing fourth overall and bringing fresh energy to this rapidly growing and competitive class.
E-MINI Class
The youngest full-track riders impressed with speed and bravery. Bear Todd took top honours, closely followed by Auley Luxton. Elliot Sully was consistent and composed all weekend. Reuben Grabham, Jacob Perkins, and Eden Davies rounded out a very capable field.
PW50 Standard Class
The PW50 Standard class delivered close, competitive racing throughout the weekend. Logan Caplin rode with consistency and confidence to take the overall win with 207 points. Just behind, Tommi Lewis pushed hard in every moto, finishing just three points adrift with 204. Seb Summerill showed excellent pace and racecraft, securing third with 189 points.
Cian Bradshaw and Henri Lewis were separated by just three points in a tight midfield battle, finishing fourth and fifth respectively, while Theo Hicks Evans rounded out the top six with solid rides and continued progression.
PW50 Modified Class
In the PW50 Modified class, it was Billy Plummer who dominated proceedings with a flawless weekend, collecting 225 points and taking the overall win. Ronnie Marchant rode hard and consistently to finish second with 207, showing he’s a real contender as the series progresses. Mason Cooke rounded out the top three with 198 points, showcasing growing confidence on the modified machine and adding great depth to the podium.
E2 Class
Cooper Kemping once again delivered a textbook performance, topping the standings with consistency and skill. Boston Cleft applied pressure in every moto and secured second place.
E3 Class
A championship-level battle played out between Maddox Knifton and Theo Hancock, with Maddox narrowly taking the win after trading victories with Theo. Cellan Rees, Boyd Musgrave, Harri Fisher, Billy Randall, and Blake Thomas completed a fiercely contested top seven.
E5 Class
Archie Gill rode to victory with consistency, while Grayson Blake Martin showed incredible speed early on before a DNF affected his final score. Rupert Foden and Cooper Dunstan tied for third. Rafe Harwood and Parker Jay Lock Denny rounded out the top six in tough racing conditions.
E5+ Class
A thrilling battle saw Kaylum Clark take the overall win with three race victories. Oakley Jones was close behind, riding with grit and speed all weekend. Paisley Cleft had a strong showing in third, competing against some of the quicker E65 riders with confidence and control.
E65 Class
Nicolas Lange capitalised on a late mechanical issue for Frank Wallis to take the win. Frank still earned a well-deserved second, while Liberty Matthews completed the podium after a strong and consistent performance. Noah Brown, Cadi Bradshaw, Wilfred Stokes, and Teddy Franklin finished closely behind.
Small Wheel Auto (50cc Petrol)
Archie Gill took the overall win with consistency, but it was Mathew Enwright who set the pace in several motos, collecting multiple race victories and showing superb form. Tommy Ocallaghan rounded out the podium, with strong efforts from Olivia Daniel, Myles Chee, and Rhys Benison.
Big Wheel Auto (50cc Petrol)
Oakley Jones was flawless with maximum points. Kaylum Clark and Cooper Dunstan rounded out the podium. Lyla Enright, Freddy Jones, Milo Williams, and Mia Jones also impressed in a fast and competitive field.
