Mx & Speedway Memories BSMA Reunion 4 – Entries Now

The Mx & Speedway Memories BSMA Reunion 4 is set to be a Monster occasion, with promoters Lee Ashby & Kevin Wheeler working with the BSMA to make this edition their best ever.

The event this year will be taking place at Monster Mountain MX, Merthyr Tydfil in Wales on the 27th & 28th April. Entries are now open via Lee Ashby but they will fill up fast so don’t hang around.

1. Once paid race entry fee, we will only refund you if we can replace you before the end of the cut off date. But it is non refundable at all for any reason after the Friday 29th March. 1 month before the event.

If the event is cancelled for any unforeseen reason, your entry will carry over to the rescheduling date.

Transponder hire £10
Temporary BSMA licence £10. So still £150 all in, if all of that is needed, and still the same £150 all in been since reunion 2 in 2022!!! 🙌🏻👊🏻

2. Transponders are needed for all riders, for results and overalls, you can either tell me your own transponder number on booking in, or hire one for £10 from us.

Which will be live on My Laps app all weekend for worldwide access.

On booking in when sorting your transponder hire at signing on, you either need a driving licence or bank card left, as a deposit, & then when the transponder is returned end of the weekends racing, it will be returned.

3. No tear off are aloud. Only Roll offs.

4. This event will be run under BSMA licences. So those with BSMA licences just need to show them at signing on.
Anyone without a BSMA license will need to buy a temporary day licence on the Bsma

Website before arriving. The cost for the weekend temporary license is £10.

EVERYONE must sign on including, riders, track Marshalls, any photographers listed for media will need to sign on, and to be trackside must have public liability insurance and show proof of that when sign on too. All legends must sign on too but will be covered by us.

5.Spectators: It’s a £10 entry fee for all adult spectators for all weekend. Free for kids U16. And it will be a £10 camping fee per non racing vehicle camping. So if 4 in a car or van say, then it’s £10 per vehicle
not each for camping. ⛺️

It will be riders plus 1 included in your race entry. Please make sure they are with you, as be too busy to track others coming later etc

6.Race entry fee is £130 each rider for the whole race weekend. This must be paid on booking in, by either bank transfer or PayPal. I can help you out if waiting on a pay day coming up.

You can enter more than one group if wish, and be in two different groups eligible for, but this will mean need to pay for both entry fees still. And I will try to keep them groups with a gap in between, once I check how many doubling yo riders nearer there are when do race schedule.

One day bookings could be done, but will be closer to the event. Possibly last couple of weeks. If not full obviously.

7.Booking in is with me only by message, i want to know the group your entering, race number your after. Transponder number.

8. All riders will be given rider wristbands at the signing on, and will be checked at the peg box area to confirm your signed on to race. ALL riders must have them on.

Your rider names will be checked off lists as enter venue too, so we know your in.

And everyone will have wristbands including spectators.

9.All races to count for overall result.

Saturday be practice for each class except for legends. Be 3 races each Saturday.

Then Sunday be short practice/maybe sighting lap, then 2 races each. Then we will finish weekend with the Super final.

Legend will do 2 sessions each day, at the end of each block of racing. And last one before the super final Sunday.

The top 4 overall from each group qualify for the final.

Race running schedules and race times, etc will be announced further down the line too. There will be constant updates by me online on my Mx & Speedway Memories social media’s, so please follow/join/like them so see all updated news, Facebook group, and page, plus Instagram and Twitter.

10.Groups which could be open to change if needed, can have 40 riders max in each group are allowed.

11.Minimum age of riders allowed to race is 15 years old in all our adult groups, as long as your of a good rider ability.

12. Groups we are running below: And could be subject to change if needed. Please only book into right level of groups. Or you could lose your points and be moved class. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Legends: Demonstration laps invite only.

Vets Over 45-55. Any bike. Vets over 55 any bike. Race together scored separately.

Evo/Super Evo 125cc and Evo/Super Evo 250/500cc will race together but be scored separately.

Modern Mx1 & Mx2 will race together but be scored separately. Mx1: 250cc/350f/450f Mx2: 125cc/150cc/250f

Inters: Any bike. Just above junior standard riders.

Juniors: Any bike. Just above novice class riders.

Novice 1, 2 & 3 all same standard. Any bike.
*Please only enter this if you are of novice pace. Or be ousted out.

13.When all riding entry spots are gone there gone, so get hold of Lee Ashby to book. Message only please, so he can reply to plenty at once. No calls.

14.Timetable: entry to venue will be from 2pm Friday 26th April. Closed TBA. Around 10pm. Then reopens Saturday morning at 7am. Closes again Saturday 10pm.
Same thing for Sunday.

Signing on times TBA. But will be Friday afternoon/evening and early Saturday morning.

Top 5 overall from each class will receive trophies/boards. And the podium with drink to spray.

Important info: There is no running water tap on site, so please bring your own or visit Merthyr Tydfil area close to track venue.

There will be no electric bikes or scooters. Only push bikes allowed.

There will be full catering from Friday afternoon. Hot foods, cold drinks, sweets, ice cream van and cake truck.

You can camp Sunday evening too if wish and leave Monday morning.

There will be a beer tent and bar. We are also looking at live music too.

Will be inflatable’s for the kids, weather depending.

Air horns are allowed so please bring as many as possible
