In the baking heat, the Verde Substance KTM of Jake Millward pulled off a stunning holeshot to flag victory in moto one, chased home by SS24 KTM’s Shaun Simpson, and the Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha of Kullas. Tommy Searle and Dylan Walsh who had a coming together would end the moto in fourth and fifth respectively with the Apico Husqvarna of Stu Edmonds notching up a superb sixth.

In Moto two Walsh would take the chequers ahead of Kullas, Searle, Adam Sterry and Simpson with the overall going the way of Kullas with a 3-2 scorecard ahead of Walsh and Searle with the former holding onto the red plate.

Dickinson was a first-time overall winner in the MX2 class netting a fantastic moto one victory, before backing it up with fourth in race two. Bike It MXT Kawasaki’s Aussie charger Wilson Todd would go 2-3 for the number two spot forcing series leader and moto two winner Conrad Mewse onto the third step of the box. Ike Carter would come of age at this round leading the majority of moto one before he was reeled in at the later stages of the race but with a 3-5 scorecard he would end the weekend with a tremendous fourth overall. ASA Gas Gas United’s Steven Clarke claimed second in the moto 2 for fifth overall with Liam Everts in sixth.

The fast-starting Jude Morris had a stunning day going 1-1 in the Youth 250 category taking the overall ahead of Alfie Jones and Ben Clark. GRT Holeshot KTM’s Ollie Colmer went 2-1 to Bailey Johnston’s 1-3 in the Youth 125’s with Charlie Palmer rounding out the podium.

There was a double celebration in the Matt Gardiner MX camp with brothers Ben & Gus Mustoe winning the Big Wheel and Small 85’s respectively. Ben was flanked on the box by Gyan Doensen and Billy Askew in the Big Wheels while over in the Small Wheels Drew Stock rode well for second with Jamie Keith third.  Both Small Wheel 85 moto winners Reece Jones and Freddie Gardiner suffered lower point-scoring rides which kept them off of the podium.

The championship moves into Foxhill near Swindon for the fourth round of the series on Saturday 19th June.
