The bullet Jeffrey Herlings will be duking it out with some of the UK’s biggest stars at Oxford Moto Park on Sunday, the 10th May, as part of the Mecca-X Championship third round, which also runs on the Saturday, the 9th, for the Youth, Vets and Clubman classes and in conjunction with the Nora Pro Championship.
Oxford Moto Park is near Abingdon and, due to the nature of the venue, which is on MOD land, is only available on very few occasions, so it’s a huge coup for Dave Willet and the Mecca-X club to both be racing there, and also to attract HRC rider Herlings, who will have the likes of Taylor Hammal, Billy Askew and Jamie Keith to contend with.

The club has already been attracting big line-ups in the Youth groups, with Autos, 65cc, Small and Big Wheel 85’s, Youth 125 and 250 classes running at the event, which is Round 3 of the championship for members. There are also Clubman A, B and C classes as well as Vets Over 35 and Vets Over 50 categories.
