Betamotor is pleased to announce Jago Geerts has joined the Beta MRT Racing Team for the upcoming MXGP World Championship season. After a successful career in the MX2 category and two seasons in MXGP, the Belgian rider is ready to write a new chapter in Beta colors.
Born in Geel (Belgium) on April 21st 2000, Geerts has won European and World Junior titles, becoming one of the most promising talents in international motocross. MX2 World Vice-Champion for four consecutive years (2020-2023), he collected 24 GP wins and 55 podiums in the category. In 2025 he closed his first full MXGP season in 12th place, with highlights such as a 6th place at the Latvian GP and a victory in the Qualifying Race in Lugo (Spain).
Beta welcomes Jago Geerts with enthusiasm, confident that his experience and determination can lead the Beta MRT Team to compete for prestigious positions in the MXGP World Cup. For all fans, the appointment is set for Thursday, November 6th on the occasion of the international fair EICMA – Stand Betamotor (Hall 7, Stand O48) for a special moment of meeting and autographs with Jago.
