Husqvarna and GasGas recall 2022 TC125 & MC125 models to replace CDI Control units!

Husqvarna Motorcycles is recalling model year 2022 TC125 models in order to replace the CDI control unit at authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles dealers.

To ensure the durability of the cranktrain, Husqvarna Motorcycles is ordering a replacement of the CDI control unit on the above-mentioned vehicles. This replacement applies to all affected MY22 TC 125 machines.

Customers who have already acquired one of the above-mentioned motorcycles are being informed by a personal letter and are asked to immediately contact an authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles Dealer to arrange an inspection appointment.

In addition, customers can check online in the ‘Service’ area of the Husqvarna Motorcycles website to determine if their motorcycle is affected by this recall. The check and replacement of all parts involved will be carried out at no cost to the customer and must be performed by authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles Dealers only.

The same applies to GasGas which issued this statement:

GASGAS is recalling all MC 125 motocross bikes in order to carry out the replacement of the CDI control units.

This replacement only applies to 2022 model bikes. Customers who have already acquired one of the above-mentioned motorcycles are being informed by a personal letter and are asked to immediately contact an authorised GASGAS Dealer to arrange an inspection appointment.

In addition, customers can check online in the ‘Service’ area of the GASGAS website to determine if their motorcycle is affected by this recall. The check and replacement of all parts involved will be carried out at no cost to the customer and must be performed by authorized GASGAS Dealers only.
