Harry Edmondson wins day one of the 2021 FIM World Youth Enduro Championship!

Last weekend, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June, the first round of the 2021 Enduro World Championship took place in Marco de Canaveses, Portugal, and the Motoclub do Marco organized a race as challenging as spectacular.

Four the special tests on the programme to be completed three times, two of which were in the same location as last year. A technical and fast Cross test and Enduro test, a challenging Extreme test full of natural obstacles and a Super test that was run on both days of the race on the same track of the Friday Prologue slightly lengthened and modified.

The Fantic JET Racing riders arrived in Portugal with the aim of doing well and getting on the podium of the Youth class.

Harry Edmondson rode an almost perfect race and achieved some excellent results. On Day One the British rider dominated the Youth class and took the top step of the podium.

On the following day Harry Edmondson was not able to repeat this and the final score was a second place. At the end of the Portuguese weekend the Fantic rider is on equal points with the leader of the provisional standings.

Riccardo Fabris was also present at Marco de Canaveses, the Italian rider rode a good race and the final scores are a sixth and a fifth place in the Youth class.

The next appointment is scheduled for Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th June in Edolo where the GP of Italy, the second round of the season, will be held.
