Hammal, Cole & Husband to represent Stafford Van Sales RHR at 2023 VMXDN Foxhill!

When former Grand Prix rider and long time team owner Rob Hooper puts his hand to anything you know its going to be done just right, and after hearing what a barn stormer the 2022 VMXdN Foxhill was he got together with sponsor Will Hill from Stafford Van Sales and they hatched a cunning plan.

With the new for 2023 Wright Engineering team race it was an instant decision for these guys to enter a team, but it had to be competitive and going for the win is the only option.

Team Stafford Van sales RHR have Rob Hooper and Will Hill as joint owner and managers, and as expected the riders will be at the sharp end of the action, as well as the machinery, that will be top notch Kawasaki’s and a Suzuki.

Taylor Hammal is a 23 year old British Champion and Grand Prix regular from Southhampton who currently rides for Shaun Simpson’s SS24 squad on the MX2 bike, with his best results being a second in the national series and a 12th in the world championship. He’s a serious player at the top of his game and for the Foxhill’s Wright Engineering race he will line up on a factory 2000 Suzuki RM 250 prepared by Rob Hooper, (the bike is the same age as the rider!) expect big things from this kid.

Carlton Husband is currently contracted to the Phoenix Evenstrokes Kawasaki squad for the British championship as well as the Scottish championship and runs at the front in both series, but is super keen to throw his hat in the ring to race the vintage bike at VMXdN Foxhill. He raced a 250 2-stroke to the series in the RedBull nationals a few years ago so he’s no stranger to the bikes, he is certainly one to keep an eye on. Carlton will be racing a 2002 KX 250.

The final rider in the squad is Charlie Cole who is currently a fill in rider for the Dixon Big Van World Kawasaki squad at the world MX championships. His normal ride is on a Blades Bikes KXF 250 so he will be campaigning a 2002 KX 250. Charlie is certainly one of the up and coming riders to look out for as he was the RedBull nationals champion on an 85 and will complete this team to be some serious players.
