GRT Holeshot KTM launch 2022 team which includes Jamie Carpenter!

Coming off the back of a very successful season in 2021, GRT Holeshot KTM are very excited to announce their team line up for 2022.

The team are very pleased to welcome back title sponsor Holeshot Motocross, who will continue their support into 2022.

Riders Ollie Colmer and Teddy Merriman have been with the team since it’s conception in 2020 and will continue for the 2022 season. Ollie will compete in the MXY1 class on his KTM SX125 and Teddy will again take on the 65cc class in 2022 on his KTM SX85.

Finley Evans is back on GRT for 2022, and moves from the 85cc BW group to the MXY2 class aboard a KTM SXF250.

The team are very pleased to welcome to the awning Jamie Carpenter. Jamie will be the team’s flagship rider in the Pro MX2 class aboard his JGR Performance tuned KTM SXF250. Said Jamie: ‘I’m really looking forward to the new season with GRT Holeshot KTM. With a solid team behind, I see myself as a serious contender in 2022.’

New recruit Billy Askew joins the team this year on a KTM SX85 BW, Billy had a very successful 2021 season in the class and will be one to watch in 2022.

8 year old Elliott Shawyer rode a 50cc automatic machine in local events last year, and the 2022 season sees him join the team and move onto a KTM SX65 geared machine and take the next step into National level competition.

Said Team Manager Dan Giffard: ‘We are really happy to be heading into our third season as a team, every year we get bigger and better. We’re really excited for the 2022 season, having the lads return from 2021 is great for the team and we are chuffed with our new riders and feel we have some strong contenders for championships across the classes.’

GRT will compete in the REVO ACU British Motocross Championship, British Youth Motocross Championship and Michelin MX Nationals British Motocross Championship.
