Finley Evans signs for FUS Marsh MX

The FUS Marsh MX Honda team are delighted to announce the signing of the very talented Finley Evans for the 2027 campaign. Now 20 years old, the Somerset-based youngster has certainly enjoyed/endured an interesting career so far, full of plenty of racing highs and lows!

His Youth competition days include an abundance of ACU National victories, with an overall series win in the 65cc MCF Grand Slam class and representing his Country in the Junior World Championship in Estonia. Those 65cc days also saw Finley selected to ride in the Coupe De L’Avenir in Belgium. Moving onto the 85cc machinery, the National wins kept coming, along with another Junior World Championship appearance in Italy. There was even a ride in the EMX85 Championship scheduled, only for it to be scrapped due to the COVID pandemic!

During those youth days, Finley was a member of the SJP Moto Husqvarna, GRT Holeshot KTM and finally, in 2022, the GRT Impact KTM teams. Although there were plenty of successful, good times, motocross can also be cruel and very painful and in the period between 2019 and 2025, he suffered a broken foot, a broken arm(twice) and, incredibly, four broken collarbones, three of those coming in the 2023 season!

In 2026, though, Finley has come back strongly and, in some style, finishing 2nd overall in the AMCA MX2 British Championship behind Henry Williams, the double, back-to-back title winner and the rider who will be his teammate in 2027. Indeed, Finley beat Henry to the overall win in both of the final two rounds of the AMCA series. For 2027, both Finley and Henry and the FUS Marsh MX team will be going at it with the AMCA series being their main commitment, along with selected other events, including, when dates allow, some of the ACU Motul British Championship rounds.
