The 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship heads to Shanghai this weekend for round 18 of the series and the Oriental Beauty Valley MXGP of China.

The Shanghai International Off-Road Circuit in the Fengxian district hosts the penultimate round of the season, with plenty still to be decided as the championship enters its final two GPs.
We have British representation in the MX2 class with Brian Gyles racing. Brian has recently been riding in the EMX125 class and also a few rounds of the British 125cc championship, so it will be interesting to see how he gets on in China.
Also on the entry list is Drew Stock, but when he asked about it, he said that he had thought about it, but in the end it proved too expensive, so he won’t be racing.
