Round 5 of the 2026 ACU British Sidecarcross Championship took place at Culham on Saturday, where soaring temperatures and dusty conditions created one of the toughest tests of the season for riders and passengers alike.

Defending champions Brett Wilkinson and Joe Millard continued their dominant form by taking victory in both races, comfortably securing the overall win as they strengthened their position at the top of the championship standings.
The meeting also marked the first British Championship appearance of the season for Grand Prix regular Dan Foden, who returned to action to test his thumb following recent surgery. With Ryan Henderson alongside in the chair, the pair claimed the holeshot in the opening race before Wilkinson and Millard grabbed the holeshot and victory in Race 2.

The Culham circuit became increasingly rough throughout the day, with deep sand, ruts and holes making conditions especially demanding for the sidecar outfits.
Race 1 was red-flagged after 17 minutes following a heavy crash involving Kieran and Connor Sadler. Both riders were treated by the medical team before being taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution. Thankfully, both brothers are reported to be okay.
The championship battle also saw a twist as second-placed Ant Milliar and Jon Hunt were hampered by a stuck throttle in Race 2. The mechanical issue limited the pair to fourth overall, allowing Tony Grahame and Jak Watson to close the gap in the standings with a strong second-place finish.
