South African MX racer Tristan Purdon has announced that his time with the SC Sporthomes Husqvarna has come to an end.
Purdon has been a great addition to both the Motul ACU British Motocross Championship and the Scottish Motocross Championship over the past few years, finishing fourth in the MX1 British Championship in 2023 and 2024, and was looking good for the same position overall until a crash at the Landrake round put him out of the remainder of the season including missing out on racing for South Africa at the Motocross of Nations.
It remains to be seen if Tristan will continue to race in the British & Scottish Championships for another team or race elsewhere, but it would be a shame if he were to move away from the British Championship.

After two great years with @sc_sporthomes_husqvarna, my time with the team has come to an end. I’m really grateful for the opportunity and for all the support I’ve had along the way.
I’ve made some amazing memories and friendships.
