Dirt Hub: What were your goals leading up to the championship?

Brooke: Win it and have fun

DH: What were your favourite and least favourite tracks in the series?

Brooke: Spaunton Quarry was my favourite because it has got a bit of everything, and it’s enjoyable. I don’t have a least favourite track I liked all of them; they are all class.

DH: What was your best round of the championship, and why?

Brooke: My best round was definitely Ellington Banks because I had already won the Youth Girls Championship and just joined the boys’ class to see where I would come, and I won it. I also enjoyed the endurance race in Ripon as all the youth were together, and I holeshotted against the older kids and led for half a lap.

DH: What was your worst round of the series, and why?

Brooke: My worst round was the first race because I got a good start but then made a silly mistake on an off-camber hill and dropped to last place. I got back up to second but kept making mistakes and finished second, this was a shame as I won every other race.

DH: Who are your biggest rivals in the series?

Brooke: I class everyone as my biggest rivals when it comes to racing, but I found myself battling with Dexter Hind and Jacob Bragg a lot all year which made me faster as they are very fast.

DH: How do you feel to win the championship?

Brooke: I feel buzzing to win the championship

DH: Who would you like to thank for their support?

Brooke: I would like to thank my Mam and dad for spending all their time and money on me. My Nanas and Grandads for all their help and support. Sonya for hosting great events, and Dan for laying out the best tracks.

DH: What are your plans for 2023?

Brooke: In 2023, I plan to move up to big wheel and race with the older kids. I don’t expect to be at the front just yet, but I will try my best and have as much fun as possible.
