The ruts were all White! 2023 Kensworth MXC Championship Round 2 – Race Report & Results

Kensworth Schoolboy Motocross Club’s second round took place at Buttercup Farm in Chatteris.

This well-known rutty technical track saw some great racing. Matty White’s smooth style over the rough track saw him take victory in the over 35’s, Steve Worts was having a great day, taking two consistent seconds until the last Moto. Jon Tapp and Paul Edge battled for the other podium positions, with Tapp just having the Edge! To take the second podium position. Paul Edge was third.

In the over 50’s class, Paul “Wildman” Willis had a consistent day taking the overall! With Darren Williams second and Arvydas Bartasius third.

In the Youth 125/250’s. An on fire Charlie Nudds took the overall in the 250 class. With Tyler Etheridge second and George Brant third.

In the Youth 125 class reigning KSMXC 125 champion Cody Spacagna, was slow to start on this technical track, but soon got into the swing of things to show he’s a contender for the 2023 championship, to take the overall. Mikey Ward who won Moto one, lost his on fire consistency to take the second podium place, with Connor Williams third.

In the Small wheel 85 class Franky Donoghue took victory overall with a 1-2-2 and showed consistency pays off on such a tough track! The rocket Olivia Reynolds took the second podium with the pocket rocket Riley-Ray Barrow third.

In the fast Big Wheel 85 class Alfie Geddes-Green showed his dominance in Moto one and two, but rival Blake Ward-Clarke took the final Moto. Geddes-Green took the top spot, with Ward-Clarke second and Roman Mallett third.

In the fast under 35 class Rob Wood took the overall with a 2-1-1. A great fast ride from Ryeden Dennis saw him take the second podium spot. With Jacob Russell third.

Finally we get to the Juniors and Autos, these kids were amazing, with ruts up to their knees, but it didn’t let it faze them!

Tallen Hodgson took the overall in the Junior 65’s with a 1-2-1. Charley Gerrard was second with Harley-James Barrow third.

The one fire Cohen Llewellyn took the overall in the Auto class with a 2-1-1. A great ride from Archie Cornwell saw him take second overall with Tate Williams Third!

Well done to the KSMXC team, who worked their socks off to complete round 2.
