Stark Enters the FIM EnduroGP World Championship

Stark Future has announced the launch of the Stark OxMoto EnduroGP Team, a dedicated racing programme set to race the Stark VARG EX in the 2026 Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship. With entries in both the E2 and E3 classes, the programme marks a major new step in Stark’s racing evolution, taking electric performance into one of the toughest and most complete disciplines in off-road motorcycle sport.

EnduroGP is not just another championship. It is one of the purest tests of rider, machine, consistency, and endurance in the world of off-road motorsport. Across forests, mountains, special tests, and long technical loops, it demands speed, resilience, and precision at the highest level. For decades, that arena has belonged exclusively to combustion manufacturers. In 2026, Stark changes that.

The Stark OxMoto EnduroGP Team, owned by Antoine Rigaudeau, will be led by Cyril Raynaud, with Sébastien Tortelli overseeing the programme as Racing Director for Stark Future. The rider line-up will feature French rider David Herbreteau in E2 and Spaniard Marc Sans in E3, combining multi-discipline off-road experience, championship knowledge, and proven racecraft.

The Stark VARG has already shown it can line up against established combustion machinery at the sharp end of elite off-road competition. EnduroGP now presents a new challenge: a world championship where performance must be sustained over full days of racing, across changing terrain, technical tests, and extreme conditions.

This programme is not about symbolic participation. It is about proving that the VARG belongs in the most demanding environments in motorcycle racing. Every special test, every transfer, and every finish line crossed will be a competitive result, but also a statement of intent.

Built on Momentum

Founded in 2020, Stark Future was created with one clear ambition: to build electric motorcycles that outperform traditional technology in every metric that matters to riders. From the first appearance of the Stark VARG on the international stage to its expansion across motocross, supercross, superenduro, enduro, and supermoto, the brand has consistently pushed performance into spaces where electric motorcycles were once considered impossible.

The launch of the Stark OxMoto EnduroGP Team is the latest step in that mission, and one of the most significant yet.

“Entering EnduroGP is a natural next step for Stark. The Stark VARG has already shown it can compete head-to-head with the best combustion motorcycles in top-level off-road racing. EnduroGP now gives us the chance to take that challenge into one of the toughest championships in the world. With Cyril leading both David and Marc, we believe this team has the experience and talent to be competitive from the beginning.”

— Sébastien Tortelli, Stark Racing Director

“We have absolute faith in this project. Establishing an EnduroGP team from scratch, centred on the Stark VARG and backed by Stark and our partners, presents a unique chance to redefine world enduro. We approach this endeavour with unwavering professionalism, ambition, and total dedication. Our goal is to compete fiercely, drive development, and maximise the potential of this platform.”

— Cyril Raynaud, Team Manager, Stark OxMoto EnduroGP Team

“As a young entrepreneur with a deep passion for motorcycle sports, I transitioned from motocross to enduro and rally-raid, even participating in the Dakar Rally at the age of 25. This experience highlights my profound commitment and understanding of off-road racing. Driven by this passion, I took the helm of Oxmoto in 2016 with the goal of establishing it as a recognised force in the motocross and enduro sectors. I remain consistently engaged with the sport’s evolution and am particularly enthusiastic about this project and seeing it flourish. We are at the very beginning of a new era and revolution in racing, marked by new technology development and the emergence of Stark. Few people can say they were present for such a significant shift.”

— Antoine Rigaudeau, CEO of Oxmoto

“Motorcycling has been part of my life since I was very young. I’ve been riding for 24 years now, and this passion naturally led me into competition. I have been riding the Stark for three years, and this season officially marks my second year of racing with the bike. This year will also be my first season in the EnduroGP World Championship, which represents an important step in my career. The main goal will be to gain as much experience as possible at each round and to keep improving my performance throughout the season. My objective is to continue progressing, both personally and with the development and understanding of the bike. Competing in EnduroGP and representing Stark Future at this level is an incredible opportunity, and I’m very proud to be part of this adventure.”

— David Herbreteau #103, E2 Rider

“My expectations for the 2026 EnduroGP season with the Stark Oxmoto team are to learn and progress as the championship goes on. The first rounds will be important to gather as much data as possible about the bike and our setup. Once we have a better understanding of where we are, my goal is to keep improving at every race. If we can fight close to the top five and maybe take a podium towards the final part of the season, it would be a fantastic result for our first time racing the Varg EX in EnduroGP.”

— Marc Sans #2, E3 Rider
