Smooth as Matt! 2022 Kensworth MXC Club Championship Round 5 – Race Report & Results

Kensworth Schoolboy Motocross Club headed to Arncott Moto Parc Oxfordshire for round five of their championship with another busy round and gates stacked with members, this midway point in the championship, was one not to miss!

The smooth Blake Ward-Clarke showed his dominance yet again in Small wheel 85 class with a 1-1-1 Marley Alder and Harley O’Callaghan went head to head for the other podium positions and we saw some great racing from them both. O’Callaghan had the edge though, to take second with Alder third.

In the Junior 65’s, Chad Stevenson took the overall with a great 1-1-1 Finley Thompson took second overall with a great consistent 2-2-2. Arthur Pozzoli took third.

In the schoolboy 125 class Ashden Barlow took first overall. Harrison Forde took the second podium place with Cody Spacagna third.

In the Schoolboy 250’s Seth Manners took the overall with a dominate 1-1-1 Ryeden Dennis took second with Tyler Ethridge third.

In the Big Wheel 85 class Rocco Hands, Zane Sibley-Deakin and Kai Thorpe went head to head, this close racing was great for the spectators. Thorpe took the overall, with Hands second and Sibley-Deakin third.

In the Auto’s, we saw the penultimate KSMXC qualifying round of the ACU British Auto cup. This hotly contested class saw a very full gate of these youngsters. Hunter Groves took the overall with Harley-James Barrow second and Tyler Moss third.

Auto riders Archie Chamney & Tommy Wells coming to grief

In the fast under 35 class Richard Carter who was back on form took the overall, he couldn’t nail his starts but his persistence and determination paid off. A great ride from Daryl Wallace saw him take second with Carter’s cousin Shaun Robinson taking third.

In the Over 35 class, Matty White made the rough conditions look easy with his smooth style for the overall victory John Tap took second with a 2-2-3. Ben Rocks took third with a great final race.

In the Over 50’s class Richard Brown took the overall with a 1-1-1. Anthony Hylton took second with Tony Fricker third.

KSMXC head to DMP for round six of their championship. Booking in opens for members via GoRace at 8pm on Monday 11th July.
