Sand Blasters! 2025 Pendine Beach Race – Results and Pictures

The two-day Let’s Go Racing organised 2025 Pendine Beach Race was held at Pendine Sands over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd November, and with over two hundred riders entered for the meeting, it was a weekend to remember for many.

Saturday would see the kids’ races on the beach, with racers having an early 8 am start for practice, followed by three races. In the stacked Auto class, Tommy Chesworth would take home the win, while in the Junior 65cc class, Jenson King powered to a 3-ride maximum. Taking the spoils in the Small Wheel 85cc class was Freddie Joyner, and in the Big Wheel 85cc group, Mylie Evans powered to victory. Taking the win in the Youth Quad class was Theo Langridge.

On Sunday, the adult races would take place. Glorious sunshine would greet the riders at the beach, which has hosted many land speed records in the past. The race order would be Youth, Vets, Adult A then Adult B followed by the Novice race.

Ggain it would be an early start to the day the two Caterpillars had been again working through the night building the track and fighting the tide timetable was a challenge in itself but with good organisation the track was in prime condition and the racing started at precisely 8.30 am and was finished by just after midday as the tide began to make it’s way in and the riders began to make their way home after another top class weekend’s racing organised by the Lets Go Racing team in West Wales.

Charlie James stood on the top step in the Youth 125cc category, while Estyn Rowsell took the chequers in all three Youth 250cc motos. In the Experts, Dan Maule ruled the roost, and Harry Clarke went through the card in the Clubman.

Jason Barry hammered home three from three in the Vets Over 35, in the Vets Over 45, Mark Morris took the honours, and in the Novice, Jamie Goddard would be victorious.
