Plews Tyres will take over as the title sponsor with full branding of series logos and trackside banners, and will also be offering direct tyre supply and support to all riders at championship meetings, with the company’s full range of tyres available for purchase and fitting at events.

Plews Tyres will also be extending their support of the domestic motocross scene by offering registered championship riders the chance of manufacturer support deals not only to the series frontrunners, but also to riders further down the field.

The top three championship riders in each class from the 2025 championship will be invited to join the Plews Tyres Elite Support Team for 2026, which includes factory tyre support for the full season, along with exclusive Plews Tyres Elite merchandise, invitations to team training days and access to product development and testing days.
Riders who finish the upcoming 2026 championship classes in the top three will receive the same deal for 2027.

An exciting part of the new deal also sees riders who have finished outside of the top three also having a chance to gain manufacturer support as a ‘standout rider’, with one registered rider per class receiving a Plews Tyres support package.

Selection criteria for this award will not solely be based on results, but will also take into account a rider’s work ethic, commitment, attitude and personality, whilst also taking into account progress and performance on track.

Plews Tyres brings UK based cutting edge technology such as 3D printing, laser scanning and simulation based testing to develop race winning, high performance off road tyres.
In just three years the company has accrued a number of titles with riders using Plews tyres, notably Marc Fernandez winning the Super Enduro world championship in 2025, with over 20 titles in national competitions already to their name in the UK, Germany and Spain.

Having worked with the SC Sportshomes Husqvarna team in 2025, the brand is also a supporter of the MXGB Youth series, and in 2025 supported a number of high profile youth riders including Jamie Keith, Hayden Statt, Joel Winstanley Dawson and Harley Marczak.

“The Masters has always prided itself on offering a true national championship experience for all riders, and I’m excited for the new partnership with Plews Tyres”, stated series promoter Colin Hambridge.

“We are especially pleased with the support package for our winning riders, and also for those who may be further down the field and wouldn’t usually expect such an unprecedented level of manufacturer support. Plews Tyres is a company that has grown impressively on the domestic motocross market in the past few years, and indeed we had many riders winning our championship races last season on their tyres. We’re looking forward even more to what already will be an exciting 2026 season and hope our new association with Plews Tyres helps both organisations to grow yet further”

Managing Director of Plews Tyres, Josh Plews, is also looking forward to the new partnership: “Becoming the title sponsor of the British Masters Motocross Championship is a hugely proud moment for Plews Tyres. This series represents the very best of British motocross—hard-fought racing, passionate riders, and a community that continues to push our sport forward. Supporting the championship aligns perfectly with our mission to develop world-leading tyres through real competition and real riders.”

“Motocross is in our DNA. We’ve built Plews Tyres from the ground up here in the UK, working with leading designers, chemists and athletes to create tyres capable of winning at every level. Partnering with the British Masters allows us to invest back into the sport that has given us so much, while showcasing the performance, innovation and reliability that riders expect from Plews Tyres.”

“We’re excited for the season ahead and look forward to celebrating the incredible talent within the British Masters paddock. It’s an honour to support this championship and to stand alongside the riders, teams and organisers who make it all possible.”

The British Masters title sponsorship deal runs alongside Plews Tyres’ existing support as a class sponsor of the MXGB Youth championship, where the company will also be offering a similar sponsorship and support deal to class winners and selected registered competitors.

With Rock Oil also continuing their secondary title sponsorship deal into 2026, the British Masters will now officially be known as “The Plews Tyres British Masters Motocross Championship, powered by Rock Oil”

With a fantastic new support package from a rising British off-road manufacturer benefitting riders of all levels, the Plews Tyres era of the British Masters is one not to be missed once the series gets underway in March!
